Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

PDF Fill is a very light PDF editor, mainly for filling in forms — we stripped out everything unnecessary and added a bit of AI-driven intuition to help place text, checkboxes and signatures. It runs in your browser.

1. Who we are & acceptance

PDF Fill (pdf.clearlogicassist.com) is provided by Clear Logic Assist (clearlogicassist.com) ("we"). By using it you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

A browser-based tool to fill, edit, sign, compress and export PDF documents. Features are provided on an "as-is" basis and may change. Some optional operations (e.g. server-side compression) send the document to our server for that single request only.

3. Your documents & responsibility

You keep all rights to the documents and content you upload or create. PDF Fill is a tool, not legal, tax or professional advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and validity of the documents you produce and for how you use them.

4. Accounts

You must provide a valid email, keep your credentials safe, and be at least 16. One account per person unless we agree otherwise. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or breach these Terms.

5. Pricing & billing

Current status: online payments are not yet enabled. During this preview, top-ups are free and the service is effectively free to use. This section describes how billing will operate once payments go live.

6. Refunds & withdrawal (consumers)

Digital services are delivered immediately. By saving/downloading a document you ask us to begin performance at once and, to the extent permitted by law, acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is lost once a paid save is performed. Unused, unspent credit may be refundable on request in line with applicable consumer law. [confirm refund wording for your jurisdiction]

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to process content you have no right to, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to defraud the billing system.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design and brand are ours (or our licensors'). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You retain your own content.

9. Availability & disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will suit a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for death, personal injury, or fraud). Where liability is permitted to be limited, it will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the account menu (your data is wiped immediately; see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access for breach or abuse.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [country], and the courts of [country] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version is always posted here.
